I'm going to kick off the photo blog with a place that absolutely blew me away when I visited it. Dozza is listed as one of the Borghi Più Belli d'Italia (Most Beautiful Villages in Italy) of which there are around 400. In searching for new places to discover I've found this to be a fantastic resource and it was through this endeavour that I discovered the wonderful Dozza. It's only a small village but it makes a huge impression. This little medieval jewel is drenched in beautiful art that adorns the walls of the village's houses, due in part to a festival that takes place there every two years. The result a riot of colour and makes Dozza a must for any trip to the region.
